We opted to keep our brand mark simple and clean marking the mark versatile and easy to read. We used each of the first letters of our last names and connected them to show unity and cohesion.

This is a picture of me in front of the Arch VII by Susanna Linburg. I walk by them everyday going to and from classes, so they have become a sort of signature, either starting or ending my day.
The Arthur meme has always made me laugh more than most others. It’s a signature in my friend group whenever someone is aggravated but cant say anything in the moment. The concept behind it is being angry without actually being angry. It can be used in many different ways, and usually there’s no wrong answer.
Grand Valley Foundation Report
Before reading the GV Foundation report, I had no clue that alumni and private donators were donating the amount that they are. $26 million dollars in one year directly off of private donations is statistically surprising. To me, that means that alumni have been mostly successful and are able to donate back to the college. After looking at the endowment, it’s clear that Grand Valley has been on a positive trend for quite a few years. If they keep this up, they could easily become a D1 school in the near future.
I fell in love with Grand Valley the first time I was on campus. It didn’t feel like any other college I had ever been to. The people were different, and so was the scenery. Every time I would go onto campus, I would connect with individuals randomly, which has made the process of getting an education much easier. Some people may prefer huge D1 schools, but for me Grand Valley was the perfect size, and in the perfect area. I feel as though GV will help me improve my skills, making me more ready when I graduate.
